James and Gemma's Wedding at Finsbury Town Hall in London

What a wedding to kick off the wedding season! James and Gemma got married at the incredible St Etheldreda's Church in the centre of London and their reception was at Finsbury Town Hall which was breathtaking inside! Here are our highlight's of the day along with some photo's we snapped and their highlight film.

Gemma and her squad of bridesmaid's got ready at a GORGEOUS house they rented in London. The champange was flowing and there was lot's of hair, makeup and dress adjustments taking over every room. Gemma looked amazing in her floor length laced dress that she bought from Schone Bride in Brooklyn by a designer called Anais Anette. When I asked her about her dress she said it was only ready 2 days before they left New York after 3 years of living there, she couldn't get a cab outside the dress shop so carried it on the New York subway at rush hour cradling it in her arms for protection!

Gemma arrived at St Etheldreda's church in a Nissan Figaro driven by her father, her bridesmaid's and overly excited flower girls were all eagerly awaiting her arrival. The church is tucked away on a private road amongst a street of town houses in the centre of London, you really wouldn't know it was there! It is incredible inside and the ceremony ran perfectly!

James and Gemma were serenaded by their amazing New York brass band as they walked up to the venue. Their reception was held at The Old Finsbury Town Hall where the music continued and the drinks flowed, the atmosphere was great!

We love it when couple's do something different! James and Gemma had a open mic instead of speeches, a microphone was passed around and many of their friends got up and said a few words or told a story, while this was a lot harder to film we loved the idea!

Me and Zac are BIG doughnut lovers so when we saw the doughnut wall Gemma and James had made filled with cross town doughnut's we were very excited! James kindly offered us some doughnuts and they were delicious! While everyone was sipping on more cocktails and eating doughnut's, the band prepared for the evening set and Moon Booth set up. We hadn't heard of this company before but loved the concept, it was a great twist on a normal Photo Booth! The rest of the evening was filled with dancing as the band performed their evening set and got everyone up, the dance floor was packed!

Flowers- DIY.

They went to the famous Nine Elms Flower market in London at 6am on the Thursday before the wedding and bought all the flowers fresh and arranged them all theirselves (bouquets included). Even James got involved and made his button holes.

A long weekend away in Scotland and our engagement.

Last weekend me and Zac took a trip to Scotland with some of our friends, I took my new Sony A6000 and decided to make a little video of our trip. Little did I know how important this video would be. On the Friday we took a trip to Culzean Castle we walked along the beach, then through a forest and past a lake to get to this castle, we must of walked over 3 hours. I was constantly filming as I haven't had much chance to experiment with my Sony and it was such a scenic location. On the way back from the castle I was as usual always way behind everyone else taking videos and photographs. Zac had mentioned if we started walking back now we would get to see the sun go down on the beach and his timings were perfect. The girls were walking way ahead of us I think we were all so tired they were desperate to get to the car and to get some food. Zac suggested we head more towards the sea as we walked back, I filmed my last clip that day of me grabbing his hand on the beach. I turned my camera off blissfully unaware that he was about to get down on one knee. Non of the girls knew so it was a big surprise for them all too they turned around just in time, as they were wondering where we were.

Here is a short video I made of our trip along with some photos , I am so glad that I filmed this weekend and will forever be able to watch back our engagement weekend.

Charlotte and Rob's Pink Chapel Wedding in Maidstone

We absolutely LOVED this wedding, Maidstone was somewhere we had never filmed before it's about 4 hours away from where we are based but we quite enjoy the traveling. Charlotte and Rob got married at Kent life a museum and farm, they got married in a quaint pink chapel and had their reception in the vintage village hall. This wedding had so many quirky little touches to it, it was certainly pinterest worthy! Charlotte and Rob are the loveliest couple and were really easy to work with! Looking back now at the video we captured I had forgotten how emotional this wedding was, the morning started off with lots of tears and heartfelt cards.

We got to work with Rebecca Douglas, we love her natural photography style! They also had a fab live band called The Hope Street Busking Band, they were brilliant! Here are some photos we snapped on the day alongside there Highlight film.

Emma and Peter's Cheshire Farmyard Wedding

Back in July we shot Emma and Peter's vintage style wedding that was on peter's parents farm in cheshire. We loved this wedding it was a pleasure to film and Emma and Peter were very chilled out and great to work with! They got married at St Oswalds Church in Knutsford and then had the reception on the farm in a marque that was beautifully set up by Emma, she had made the invitations for the wedding, the seating plan, all the little finishing touches and even did her own flowers! Her mum provided her with some beautiful vintage table wear which she hires out for others to use http://www.cherrytreevintage.co.uk/.

They served up a lovely three course dinner and then we enjoyed the speeches, cutting of the cake and lots of dancing! We loved all the little quirky finishing touches and we especially loved Emma's horses, in fact Zac wanted to take one home! We got to work with the lovely Paul Baker their photographer, we always love working with Paul he puts 100% and more into his work, here is the blog post he wrote including his amazing photo's from the day http://www.bakerphotography.co.uk/emma-peter-wedding-middlewich/. Overall we had a brilliant day capturing Emma and Peters wedding day, below are some photos we snapped and their highlight video.

Mexico 2016

In January we took a trip to Cancun Mexico with Zac's family we bought a underwater camera and Olivia filmed the trip, so here's a video of our adventure in Mexico which consisted of many many tacos, lots of Mojitos, white sand beaches and crystal clear seas. Our favourite part of the holiday was a trip to the island isla mujeres where we rode around on golf buggies went snorkelling, visited a turtle reserve and ate lobster! We plan to some day go back and stay on the island, we fell in love with its incredible beaches and the multi coloured houses.

(Make sure you watch it in HD)

Love Olivia and Zac x

2016 a new year and fresh start, although I wouldn't quite call it a fresh start. 2015 was an amazing first year as an official business and we weren't quite expecting to be as busy as we have been. We are so excited for the busy new year ahead and the couples we will meet! We want to thank the couples that picked us to be part of their day which lead to filming some wonderful weddings and meeting some lovely people. Here's a short video that really captures our 2015.

2016 for us isn't a fresh start or new beginning, its our second year as a business with many exciting opportunities ahead. However we have set ourselves a few goals for the business which we hope to achieve, one of them being to start a blog, so here I am writing our first blog post! You can look forward to many more post's on the weddings we film and the couples we meet as well as a bit more about us and our travels. I hope you all enjoyed 2015 as much as we did.
